Opening Mass to formally start the 500-day COUNTDOWN
WATCH LIVE the Opening Mass to formally start the 500-day COUNTDOWN to the 500TH COMMEMORATION OF THE FIRST BAPTISM, the Christianization of the Philippines. (December 1, 6AM)Opening Mass (First Sunday of Advent) is presided over by Most Rev. Jose S. Palma, DD, the Archbishop of Cebu. Within the Mass are the Blessing of the 2021 JUBILEE CROSS and the UNVEILING OF THE COUNTDOWN CLOCK. After the Opening Mass, the SOLEMN FOOT PROCESSION with the 2021 Jubilee Cross and the Sto. Niño Pilgrim Image follows immediately (from the Magellan's Cross to Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral).
